Jesse Finkelstein has been interested in music since before he could remember. He plays the guitar, piano, drums, oboe, and ukulele. An avid musician, Jesse enjoys all genres, and is diverse in his music taste. He has been involved in the Royal Conservatory of Music for piano for almost 5 years. Although he plays a wide variety of instruments, his main instruments are the piano and guitar. As a hobby, Jesse enjoys music production and music creation on his computer, and jamming with other musicians. Not only a musician, Jesse is also a big sports fan. He plays soccer as his main sport, but also enjoys basketball, and swimming. Jesse is currently a student at Royal West Academy going into Secondary IV.

In third grade I started school at the Maîtrise des Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal and then continued my high school at Notre-Dame College. Passionate about music, I was admitted to the Montreal Conservatory of Music in 2018 in piano. I will begin my pre-university studies in science at Jean-de-Brebeuf college September 2021. I enjoy most sports especially basketball and soccer, and I cycle on a regular basis.  I also love cooking and reading. I live in NDG and look forward to working at the Anakkara Summer Camp and NDG Music Academy in my neighborhood and having the chance to get to know the families and children in my neighborhood.

For more than fourteen years, Grace Lamfookon has been a busy mother to three children! She has been involved as a parent or counsellor at Anakkara Summer Camp with Académie de Musique NDG for the past 5 years.  We are thrilled that she will be our lead afternoon counsellor this summer!

Drawing, sports, hiking and camping are just a few of the activities Grace loves but she really enjoys any time that she gets to spend with children because she loves kids! In addition, she has experience with children with special needs. She believes in the importance of nurturing the whole child emphasizing heart, hands and mind.

We are very happy Louna Janin will be a counsellor with us all summer! Louna has always enjoyed the arts.  She went to Waldorf school in Pasadena and Montreal from age 5 -14 and continues her education at F.A.C.E., where she will start Secondary V in September.  At age 17, Louna has spent time with children of all ages as a tutor and babysitter. She loves children and is very sociable. Violin is her principal instrument and she plays guitar and recorder.  Louna loves to sing. She is in the F.A.C.E. choir and orchestra.  Louna enjoys swimming, hiking and is very adept in sports.

Hello!  I am Charlotte Landry-Lemieux and I am very happy to be working all summer with children!

Since November 2020, I have been working as a extended care educator and lunch animator at Vanguard School, a bilingual school for students with learning disabilities.  I studied theater at Cégep de Saint-Laurent and I did the training to be an early childhood educator in a school environment (Center de formation professionnelle de Verdun (CFPV).  I love music and play piano and ukulele and sing. I was part of a choir from 2009 to 2012 (CEM) I have been riding since I was eight (classic show jumping) I have my own horse and I love animals.  I really like the arts and working in the daycare. One of my strengths is to animate arts activities. (arts and crafts &  improv )

I am Julien Pilon and I am passionate about music. Being born into a family of musicians, my musical education began when I was just four years old. The first instrument I learned was the piano, and then I started percussion in grade 7, at Collège Notre-Dame. In percussion, I particularly like keyboard instruments, like the marimba. I am also finishing my last year with the Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, after spending 9 years with the organization. Next year, I’m going to Brébeuf and Vincent-d’Indy (CEGEP). I am always up for a challenge! I cycle a lot, it’s my favorite sport, and I really enjoy tennis and kayaking.
