Weimar Troetsch-Rivero

Hi! I’m really happy to be working at Anakkara Summer Camp with the NDG Academy of Music as the director of the afternoon program and the visual arts program. I did my DEC in visual arts at Cégep Saint-Laurent and since 2019, I’ve been studying at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), completing my bachelor’s degree in art education and media arts. I have a lot of experience with children. I was a camp counsellor at Camp Massawippi from June to August 2022. As part of my UQUAM degree, I completed two internships teaching art to elementary and high school children. I also have experience tutoring children. I am very excited about developing the summer art program and creating art with children. I’m also fluent in English, French and Spanish and love to dance and play music.
